Loose tackle like lead weights, rigs, connectors, hooks, beads, leaders and crimps are easily found in our bins or hanging on what is literally hundreds and hundreds of hooks along the walls and displays located in the store. We have Tools, knives, hook pullers and any equipment you'll need.

Nearly every type, brand, weight or color of fishing line is in stock in bulk spools or available to be hand loaded onto your existing reel by our experienced staff.

As the name implies, Rods are available in every style from heavy offshore rods for marlin, sailfish, tuna or mahi to high quality surf rods called "Heavers" to throw heavy weights far into the surf zone for red drum, stripers, sharks or other fish found in our nearshore waters. We also carry a full line of simple, inexpensive "Surf Combo" type rods and reels for children or casual anglers and Fly Fishing equipment and accessories.

Rod repairs are also made easy at Frisco Rod and Gun. Broken rods are most likely ruined, but replacing a guide or a tip is done easily and quickly.

Reel repairs are also made right in the store by experience reel mechanics with manufacturer's replacement parts held in stock at our location. Perhaps your reel just needs cleaning... no problem. Just drop it off and pick it up later.

One of the most frequently used items is, of course, Bait! We have a full supply of fresh bait delivered daily directly from our local commercial bait fishermen iced and waiting in the large white boxes or coolers you'll find in front of the Tackle Shop. Everything including menhaden, mullet, shrimp or bloodworms to name only a few.

You'll also find a complete line of frozen baits like boxed or cut squid, frozen shrimp in various package styles. Our offshore anglers know us for our fine Bionic and Baitmaster Ballyhoo. Basically if it catches fish and we hear about it... we'll have it!
